Member Service RepresentativeRome BranchHours: Full-Time & Part-Time
Functions:
- Candidates will be expected to process Member transactions in an efficient and accurate manner
- Build long term relationships with Members one transaction at a time through Member Service standards
- Provide Members with service and information in regard to the service offered by the Credit Union
- Research and solve Member questions
- Process transactions including: all types of deposits, withdrawals, money orders, travelers checks, loan payments, mail transactions and cash advances, verify cash endorsements, issue receipts, order checks and place stop payments on checks for Members
- Total transactions at the end of the day and complete reports, prepare and verify night drop deposits and maintain a cash drawer with a high degree of accuracy
Individuals must also maintain general work knowledge of products and services offered by the Credit Union and answer Member questions in an informed, service driven and courteous manner and be responsible to build awareness of all products and services offered by the Credit Union with every transaction.
Qualifications:
- Prior banking, retail or cash handling experience desired
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong computer aptitude, and professional appearance
- The ability to work flexible hours and Saturdays are required
