You're First ScholarshipFounded as Utica Teachers’ FCU, we at First Source understand and appreciate the value of our local educational system. True to our educational roots, our objective is to promote our local schools and offer aid to students in achieving their educational goals. In 2012 we will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships per school to students planning on continuing their education in the fall to one of our six local colleges (listed below).
- Award Eligibility
The scholarship is open to all Members, regardless of age, that will be enrolling full-time to one of the six eligible schools in the Fall. Eligible schools include:
- Hamilton College
- Herkimer County Community College
- Mohawk Valley Community College
- SUNY IT
- USC The Business College
- Utica College
- Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges, including both First Source Representatives and participating College representatives.Winners will be notified on or before June 30, 2012.
- Application Deadline
Applications must be returned to First Source Federal Credit Union and received no later than May 1, 2012 for consideration. Remember to include all required paperwork. Copies of college acceptance letter, transcripts, essays and letters of reference are required along with the completed application form.To submit by mail, address to:

Students interested in applying, print and fill out the application and submit it to First Source no later than May 1, 2012 to be considered.
Scholarships will be awarded in August.
