What To Expect

The federal government’s Economic Stimulus Payments, are scheduled to be issued by the U.S. Treasury soon. It’s important to keep in mind that not all payments will be received during this first week and some may see their stimulus payment over the course of the next several weeks.


What to know about receiving payment:

  • Direct Deposits: Starting the week of March 15, 2021, if you filed a recent tax return and opted to receive direct deposit, the account information you provided will be used to automatically deposit your stimulus payment.

  • Ensuring Payment Delivery: Easily monitor your account for the deposit through Online Banking, the Mobile App, or Automated Phone Banking. You can view completed and pending deposits. If you choose automated phone banking dial 315-735-8571, select option 2 and then option 1.

  • Paper Check Payments: The IRS will send paper checks to individuals who did not provide direct deposit information while filing their most recent tax return.

  • Paper Check Deposit Options: Deposit your check the way you like best. Choose from e-check deposit through Online Banking and the Mobile App, on site Night Drop and ATM, anytime; or In-branch and Drive-thru during regular business hours.
