Financial Service Representative II

Full-time: 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays

Overview

Provide high-quality Member service by selling all credit union products and services, and meeting the needs of Members for the products and services they have with us. Build long-term relationships with Members, meet all individually assigned goals, and assist in meeting the goals of the branch and the credit union as a whole. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationships with Members.

  • Sell/promote all credit union products and services by determining Member needs and cross-selling appropriate services. 

  • Provide Members with superior service and information about products offered by the credit union; research and solve Member questions, service issues, problems, and complaints. Handle all problematic situations that may arise with Member accounts. 

  • Receive and verify information on all types of loans. Make underwriting recommendations on all loans, approve loans within established lending authority, and disburse loans to Members.

  • Provide financial counseling to Members when necessary. 

  • Achieve assigned individual and team sales goals.

 Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent, plus 1-3 years’ work experience OR related business degree 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong computer aptitude

  • Professional appearance 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays as needed.
