Wire Transfers

Wire Transfers are available by appointment at any First Source branch during regular business hours Monday thru Saturday. If they are requested after 3:00 pm or on Saturday, they will go out the next business day. The cost of wire transfers varies for amount and destination. Outgoing wire transfers must be completed in person. For incoming wire transfers, please call for instructions 315-735-8571.

Outgoing Wire Transfer Instructions

Domestic Wires:

For wires under $10,000, please provide:

• Written wiring instructions from the receiver's institution; including dollar amount

• ​Any supporting documentation (purchase offer, loan agreement, lease agreement, etc.)

• Recipient's address and account number

• Financial institution's name, address, and Wire ABA

• All documentation must be in English

For wires over $10,000, you must include:

• Written wiring instructions from the receiver’s financial institution with the above information

• Any supporting documentation (purchase offer, loan agreement, lease agreement, etc.)

• Recipient's address and account number

• Financial institution's name, address, and Wire ABA

• All documentation must be in English

Foreign Wires:

• Written wiring instructions from the receiver’s institution, including dollar amount (required)

• Detailed supporting documentation (purchase offer, loan agreement, lease agreement, etc.)

• Recipient's address and account number

• Financial institution's name, address, and SWIFT code and/or additional information

• Intermediary institution's information, if applicable

• All documentation must be in English

You may be asked questions related to the purpose or detail of the wire or we may request additional documentation to support your request.

The Recipient of funds should contact their financial institution for complete wire instructions.
