Financial Education For Kids

Basic Concepts To Start, Advancing As They Grow

Our free, self-paced online financial education programs can help teach your children smart money skills, beginning at an early age. As they grow, the concepts become more advanced. First Source believes that a general understanding of what money is, why it’s important, and how to successfully save and spend it can help anyone get on the right financial path.

Programs Available

Our Banzai programs are perfect for elementary age through young adulthood. Youth members can play interactive, choose-your-own-adventure style games that offer real-world lessons and outcomes. Each game has a goal to save for. Will you win?

Banzai Junior - Ages 8–12

In the Banzai Junior program, children simulate running a lemonade stand while making basic business decisions, such as paying for expenses and borrowing and saving money. This is a very fun way for young Members to learn how to make wise decisions to reach their monetary goal.

Banzai Teen - Ages 13–18

In Banzai Teen, players simulate saving for college with a full-time job, living on their own, and handling decisions for living expenses, transportation, utilities, and more. This is a great way to prepare for real life money needs.

Banzai Plus - Ages 18+

In Banzai Plus, our young adult Members simulate the home-buying process by allocating their income over several paychecks to different budgeted needs, paying unexpected bills, saving for a mortgage down payment and learning about credit scores. This is a great module for gaining financial knowledge that can help with confidence about making bigger financial life decisions.

Live Smarter

Banzai interactive courses are fun and free. Your child can go through as many modules as often as they like. If they need to stop before a course is complete, the program will save their place. To get started, simply log in with your email, and create a unique password. It's that easy.
