We're Here to Help
If you are experiencing financial distress directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are here to help alleviate some of your concerns. The following temporary measures will be in place until further notice:
Emergency Relief Loan
This loan program is specifically designed to provide assistance to current Members who are financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Relief Loan can assist with regular or reoccurring monthly expenses, like utilities, daycare, or groceries.
This loan is currently available to existing First Source Members at 2% APR* up to 24 months. Loan amount is equal to a maximum of two times the monthly net pay or $10,000 (whichever is less.) Automatic Funds Transfer is required on all Emergency Relief Loans from a First Source savings or checking account.
First Source Loan Payment Relief
If you are unable to make your First Source loan payment you will not incur late fees and we will not exercise collections efforts or report a default to the Credit Bureau at this time. For all payment deferment plans, please note interest will still accrue and Members will need to make up the payments following the deferral period. Insurance premiums will also be applied.
Real Estate Loans
The First Source Loan Payment Relief measures listed above also apply to Home Equity Loans and Mortgages. For escrowed loans, please note deferment will result in escrow shortages and will need to be resolved by the Member.
For Mortgage related questions and payment relief Members may also contact:
Phone: 877-266-7722, ext. 3123
Qualifying Members may request to skip their First Source loan payment online or by phone. Normal fees related to this service are temporarily waived. Interest will continue to accrue and skipped payments will extend the term of the loan.
The minimum amount due on First Source credit cards will automatically be waived until further notice and no late fees will be assessed. Card must be in good standing.
All fees related to ATM transactions, overdrafts and late payments will automatically be waived.
We recognize many small business Members may be struggling financially due to loss of business and unforeseen expenses related to the pandemic. We do have options available. Business Members are asked to contact their personal Business Development Officer to address their specific needs.
