This Giving Tuesday, annually celebrated the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, First Source continued a tradition of charitable giving by empowering their employees to make a direct impact in the community. Employees were invited to vote for a local nonprofit organization, and the top five highest voted recipients were each awarded a $2,000 donation to support their greatest needs during the holiday season.
On December 5, representatives from First Source personally visited each organization to present the donation checks and deliver festive goodies as a gesture of appreciation and support. This initiative reflects First Source’s commitment to community engagement and the power of collective giving.
The five nonprofit organizations selected by employees this year include:

Feed Our Vets – Providing food assistance to veterans and their families.

Hospice & Palliative Care – Offering compassionate end-of-life care and support.

Spring Farm Cares & Sanctuary – Dedicated to special needs animal rescue and sanctuary services.

Center for Family Life & Recovery – Supporting individuals and families affected by addiction and mental health challenges.

Thea Bowman House – Serving children and families through educational and social programs.
