It’s a great day to have a great day—and an even better day to invest in the next generation.
Monday morning, the First Source Community Education team had the opportunity to present on financial literacy to 200 youth at the Oneida County Summer Youth Employment Program Orientation, held at MVCC’s Alumni College Center. Connecting with local students and equipping them with real-world financial knowledge is something we’re truly passionate about.
From budgeting basics to understanding savings and smart spending habits, these conversations help lay the groundwork for lifelong financial confidence. We believe that when young people have access to the right tools and education early on, they’re better prepared to make informed decisions for their future.
Our commitment doesn’t stop there—our team will be available all summer long to keep financial education fresh and front of mind for youth across our community. We’re proud to partner with local organizations and programs that share our vision of empowering the next generation.
