First Source was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of The Genesis Group’s Celebration of Education for the 10th year in a row. Held on November 20th, the event brought together educators, programs, and community leaders to honor outstanding contributions to education throughout our region.
During the evening, several educators and educational programs were honored for the meaningful impact they make in classrooms and beyond. Their dedication helps shape brighter futures for our children and strengthens our community, inspiring others by the difference they are making.
As part of the program, First Source awarded two $1,000 scholarships to educators who are incorporating financial education into their classrooms—an essential life skill that empowers students long after graduation. This year’s scholarship recipients were:

These programs help students build confidence in personal finance, budgeting, and money management—foundational skills that support lifelong success.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our scholarship recipients and to all of the educators and programs recognized during the event. Their passion and commitment continue to uplift students and strengthen our community.
