From The New York Credit Union Association’s Statewide College Scholarship Program
First Source is pleased to be participating in the New York Credit Union Association’s Statewide College Scholarship Program. Last year, this program awarded $30,000 in scholarships to 48 students across New York with scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,750. As a part of this program, First Source Federal Credit Union will also be giving out an additional scholarship worth $2,500. Applicants must be a Member who is a graduating senior in Herkimer or Oneida County who applies and fits the criteria below.
To be eligible, students must be high school seniors attending two or four-year accredited educational institutions for the first time in the fall of 2022. They must also be Members of First Source or another participating New York Credit Union. Students/applicants will be competing against other credit union members from across the state.
Applicants will be judged based upon their academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities and the quality of their written essay.

All applicants must obtain a Credit Union Verification Code from First Source to verify eligibility by emailing Pamela Way at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The applicant and his/her parent or guardian must complete the Certification and Release Authorization on the last page of the application.
The applicant will be asked to save the following as three separate files (PDFs or Word Documents).
The applicant will then be asked to submit the application*. No login is required.
When the application has been successfully submitted, the message "Nomination successfully saved." will be displayed.
